Biggest Baby Shower Ever – Top Products
Oh Hey There!
Last night I attended what was called, The Biggest Baby Shower Ever, so naturally I felt like I needed to share it with all of you! Ever since my pregnancy, I had been really interested in attending every expo out there because I truly felt clueless to what I was going to need. These baby expos are amazing for anyone expecting but can definitely be overwhelming if you were like me, scared out of my mind.
This year I clearly felt much more confident and was ready to discover the newest and greatest products out there geared towards families and babies.
On that note, I gathered my top products from the show and wanted to share with all of you!
Ready Set Food is something I had been eyeing for months now! After many years of being told by professionals to WAIT to introduce allergenic foods, a new study has been found that it is actually more beneficial to introduce these foods EARLIER rather than later! As early as 4 months!
Ready Set Food has been highly recommended by friends as well as our pediatrician and the system couldn’t be easier!
There are 2 different stages:
Stage 1 – A gentle 15 day introduction to peanuts, eggs, and milk, 1 at a time building up the amount.
Stage 2 – Continue for 6+ months to reduce the chance of developing an allergy.
Add a daily dose to a bottle of formula or breastmilk and that’s it! We are starting this system today and I’m so excited. Happy to reduce the chance of Brooke having food allergies!
I’ve already mentioned Water Wipes on the blog before. We’ve tried others out there and nothing compares… (s0 far). Now that we’ve started solids, I feel like Brooke is more prone to diaper rash and I honestly feel as though the Huggies sensitive wipes made it even worse! We are sticking to Water Wipes for now!
This stroller is my DREAM! First of all, it only weighs 13lbs!
That’s right, 13lbs!!!
My stroller is a great stroller but so heavy. To get it into my trunk, I basically have to gather all my strength and swing it up in there. The Babyzen Yoyo+ folds right up and you can carry it on your shoulder! I’ve never seen something so amazing. I am DEFINITELY putting this on my next registry. I’ve been told it retails for $500 and never goes on sale.
EZPZ not only makes utensils but has also created silicone feeding trays and silicone cups for baby! We have the feeding trays but we just got the utensils to try out. They are designed to teach a baby how to feed themselves. Sounds fantastic, right? We will also be trying these out today!
If you haven’t noticed from my instagram, Brooke wears a bow DAILY – haha! We love bows over here to the extent of Brooke having her own “Bow Corner”. She has a million but you can never have too many! These remind me of the Baby Bling bows but WAY cheaper. I am definitely sticking with these. We got 5 different bows last night! Be sure to check out my instagram for updates, she will be wearing them soon!
There were so many more great products featured at the Big City Moms event but just not enough time to talk about them.
Some of my other favorites were:
CBR – Cord Blood Banking (We used this company!)
Happy Family Organics – Baby Food
Has anyone else attended the Big City Moms Expo? Or any other expo they enjoyed?
