8 Reasons You’ll Miss Being Pregnant
You may be in your Third Trimester reading this and thinking, “Are you out of your mind? I just want this baby out of me!” However there is some serious truth to actually missing being pregnant!
I was like you and thought to myself, there is NO WAY I’m not going to miss it. Not that I had a rough pregnancy whatsoever but simply because towards the end I didn’t fit in anything but sweats, I was out of breath just going up the stairs, and I was tired of people telling me “you look like you’re going to pop!” Not to mention, I was dying to meet my baby girl already!
So lets talk.. What are you really going to miss?!
1. Indulging In Your Cravings Without Any Guilt
I didn’t go too crazy during my pregnancy however towards the end I was much more laid back. I let myself indulge in just about everything that met my eye. In moderation.. of course. What was my absolute favorite dessert treat?: Chick Fil A Shakes!
2. Being Taken Care Of
You will never have this many people ask you how you’re doing.. ever again. Haha. I mean seriously. Strangers, Family, Friends… They all want to know what’s going on and what you may possibly need. They will be there for you 24/7. It’s quite lovely, if you ask me.
3. Amazing Hair
I was amazed at all the new hair growth that kept popping up. My hairstylist would comment on it each time I’d get my hair done. Hello, luscious hair.
4. Playing The Pregnant Card
This is terrible for me to be admitting this but honestly pregnancy can be a great excuse sometimes! I have never been more late in my life than when I was pregnant. It was difficult to get moving and motivated most of the time. Well guess what, I had an excuse.. I was pregnant! 🙂
The only time naps are greatly encouraged other than when you’re a kid. You enjoy getting those zzz’s. You deserve them!
6. Those Baby Kicks
You’ll actually miss feeling those tiny jabs! The next time you’ll feel anything remotely like that it will be gas and that’s just not as exciting. Ha!
7. Wearing Sweats Daily
I have never loved sweats more and with my job it was thankfully very acceptable for me to wear them daily. After all, I worked better if I was more comfy! 🙂
8. Hello, VIP Parking
Most of our malls here have expectant mother parking and you best believe I parked in those spots. I felt honored to have them open and ready for me but lets be honest.. I could have probably used the extra steps and parked further away.
