Things every pregnant woman should do.. at least once!
Being pregnant, I’ve realized there are quite a few things I can get away with that normally would be not considered very acceptable. Is it terrible that I want to make sure I complete these 5 things before Little Miss B comes? 🙂
Mess With a Stranger
I have yet to do this but I’m currently at the stage where it would work out perfectly! It happens typically while I’m at work. I’ll notice my clients eyes continually gazing down at my growing belly. I know most of them are too shy to ask. However there have been a few times where they’ve flat out asked me if I’m expecting. Instead of immediately answering, “yes.. I didn’t get this fat from pizza..” I want to one day answer, “expecting? what do you mean?” Yes, its kind of cruel but also hilarious. A good icebreaker if you ask me.
Eat an Entire Pint of Ice Cream
Now is your time… Or maybe you already do this on your cheat day. I however (pre-pregnancy) used to make myself feel guilty if I even bought a pint of ice cream from the grocery store. During this pregnancy I’ve definitely cheated on my “diet” more than I ever have. Weekly, maybe twice a week, I’ll treat myself to a Halo Top pint. Come 8 months, I may step it up and get a Ben and Jerry’s pint because, why not? 🙂
Treat Yourself To a Day of Pamper
During this pregnancy, there have been days I’ve just woken up in a bad mood. For no reason, just feeling extra hormonal and moody. What helps me shake it? A day of pampering. Getting my nails and toes done, a blowout, or even a prenatal massage always does the trick. I highly suggest you do this at least once a month for your mental state. Ha!
Throw a Tantrum
Ok, on the topic of moodiness… I shouldn’t condone bad behavior but lets be honest.. this is your only time you can really get away with it. My attitude lately has been out of control. The sad part is – I can fully acknowledge it. I’m not even in denial! I find myself irritable and impatient. Sorry, husband. 🙂
MIDNIGHT FOOD RUNS
Should this be an every night sort of thing? Probably not. However, its completely acceptable to do this at least once! I haven’t pulled a food run yet but I imagine I’ll be testing this out in my future! I do notice my appetite increasing lately, which is a little scary. Haha!
Do these sound familiar?
